Yesterday, I was reading the headlines about the Bullards, of Shakopee, MN who were recently accused of running yet another Ponzi scheme. This paused me to go online to do a little reminiscing about my own involvement as an investor into the Brasota Mortgage Ponzi situation of nearly20 years ago. As an investor, I have saved all of your correspondence to us during your time spent as Trustee in the event that it might be needed. But, yesterday when I went online to review the events of that bygone debacle, the more that I read, the more that I realized that you went far and away above the call of duty to assure that investors received not only as much as you could salvage, but also to receive these funds as equitably as possible. Your willingness to fight those with power and influence who had tried to bully their way to getting their full investment back in order to protect the rest of us possessing less wherewithal was incredible.

Mr. McHale, I apologize for waiting this long to send you this long overdue “Thank You”. The articles that I read had predicted / suggested that investors caught up in other Ponzi schemes might expect to get 5 to 15 cents back on their investment dollar yet you were able to secure us up to 65 cents is amazing. Please accept my deepest gratitude for your efforts and your Christian upbringing relating to a quest for the truth and for fairness. God Bless You!
