"Service to clients is a constant, unrelenting, determined, and compassionate activity." Roy is a highly adaptable and accomplished professional joining McHale P.A. in 2021. He brings to the firm a broad range of experience and skills in various fields, such as real estate, property management, construction, and accounting. He has owned several small businesses and is keenly interested in building new experiences and expanding his knowledge base. Roy brings an analytical mind and practical problem-solving to better serve our clients' needs. Roy is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in Florida, a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), a Licensed Real Estate Broker, Certified General Contractor (CGC), and Community Association Manager (CAM). Roy holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Florida Gulf Coast University, where he graduated summa cum laude in 2020. He is currently pursuing a Master's in Accounting and Taxation. He has a National Craft Certificate in Carpentry and Joinery from his native Ireland, where he also completed part of his college education in Economics, Politics, and Sociology at University College Dublin and Construction Technology at the Dublin Institute of Technology. Roy is an active member of several professional organizations, such as the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA), Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), Lee County Bar Association, and Collier County Bar Association. He is also involved in civic activities serving as consultant for the Tampa Bay Bankruptcy Bar Association, and a condominium Board President. As an avid rugby supporter, he is a former Naples Rugby Football Club Treasurer, served on the club's annual beach tournament organizing committee and coached rugby at the high school level.
