I am fortunate I can experience this firsthand.” Before Veronica was named a Partner at McHale, P.A., she accumulated ten years of experience in specialized forensic accounting, litigation support, and bankruptcy analysis, focusing on damages analysis, fraud investigation and detection, embezzlement analysis and Ponzi schemes. In 2014, Veronica earned her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in the state of Florida. She has a Master of Science in Accounting and Taxation with a minor in Business Management from Florida Gulf Coast University’s Lutgert College of Business, where she graduated with Honors. In January of 2017, Veronica received the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ (FICPA) “Horizon Award,” which recognizes the brightest young CPAs in the State of Florida.  Veronica is a frequent guest speaker at her alma mater’s Forensic Accounting class, where she teaches and provides guidance to accounting students. Veronica speaks fluent English and Spanish and has an advanced level of Portuguese. Emerging Leader winner of the 2022 Women to Watch Awards by the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA). This award is given annually to only one female CPA selected from the entire state of Florida. In 2019, she was recognized by Gulfshore Business Magazine as one of the "40 Under 40" rising stars. Veronica is an active leader in several local organizations. She is a board member and Treasurer of the Harry Chapin Food Bank, was a past chair (2016-2017) of the FICPA Southwest Florida Chapter, a chair of the FICPA Florida Gulf Coast University Accounting and Tax Conference (2017-2018), a committee member of the FICPA Valuation Litigation Support Conference and a past committee member of the Young CPAs. Veronica’s professional affiliations also include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). Download CV
